Brenda D.H. Phillips, 77, well-traveled businesswoman

Brenda Diane Helms Phillips of Murrells Inlet died March 9 after a battle with cancer. She was 77.
She was born Feb. 8, 1948. She was married for 58 years to Gary Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips traveled to all 50 states. She loved going to Disney World and visiting scenic areas.
She started her own business, BXY LLC.
She was remembered for her deep love and commitment and as a woman full of passion, forgiveness and loyalty.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle Phillips Bowen; her grandchildren, Jacob Bowen, Alex Bowen, and Zachary Bowen; her sisters, Sandra Faulk and Sylvene Moser; and her extended family.
Her son, Mark Phillips, died before her.
A graveside memorial service was held Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway.
