Dr. Carl Weimer, 67, loved wisdom, words and humor

Dr. Carl Edward Weimer Jr. of Murrells Inlet died July 26 at his home. He was 67.
A proud West Virginian, he was known as a man of wisdom, words, honor and humor. He was a dermatologist who dedicated himself to the care of his patients and family.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving and giving father, cherished brother, loyal friend and caring doctor, his family said.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. A reception will follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Operation Smile, Mepkin Abbey or Heifer International.
