Edward B. Robinson, 77, small business owner

Edward Burrell Robinson of Heritage Plantation died March 11 at his home. He was 77.
He was born in Buckhannon, W.Va., the son of Joseph Healey Robinson and Gertha Peters Robinson. He served in the Navy and was involved in the Bay of Pigs invasion.
Mr. Robinson was a small business owner most of his working years. He also sold cars and was a branch manager with Carnation Co. He enjoyed repairing musical instruments and making violins. He also liked to play poker and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Karah Graham Robinson; his children, Edward Burrell Robinson Jr. of Berkeley, Calif., Jeffrey Alan Robinson of Atlanta and Jennifer Dawn Robinson of Memphis; his grandchildren, Avery Dawn Robinson of Tiburon, Calif., and Jeffery Alan Robinson and Jordon Matthew Robinson of Atlanta; his sisters, Janet Robinson Lowe of Salem, W.Va.; Edna Robinson Harmon (Joe) of Salem and Idaho; his brothers, Ralph Robinson (Tish) of Crownville, Md., and Charles Robinson (Connie) of Murrells Inlet.
His brother-in-law, Ralph Lowe, sister-in-law, Kerry Robinson, and nephew, Jeremy Mayle, died before him.
A memorial service will be held March 31 at 2 p.m. at the Salem (W.Va.) Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Family Justice Center, 2705 Highmarket St., Georgetown, SC 29440.
